So, here we finally go with a new, major update!

In the past weeks I experienced major problems with the blog but managed to solve them eventually, so there's a lot to show and tell and I'll probably devide the update into two parts - you know, just for the sake of making it look a little nicer.

I've been working on a number of different pieces in the past months and these are some of the results:

First is a sample page from a comic that was published in the Kids Zone magazine in July. The comic was made as a short, funny entertainment piece for kids aged 6 to 12.

To read the whole comic online please visit the Kids Zone magazines page.

The following was created as a long desired birthday present for someone.

I do not claim ownership of anything Pink Floyd related, I don't own any rights on their artwork, photos or music, and I don't want to cause trouble either, this is a painting that was made as a present and neither will the original be for sale nor will there be any copies.

However, I offer to create similar pieces of your favourite band, movie, actor or anything else, a long as it does not violate anyone's creative rights or copyrights. If you would like to purchase a painting or have any questions, please email me.

Medium in this case is acrylics on canvas, size is about 100x50 cm.

Dewberry Ink recently took part in a  character design contest for the online game RIFT

The contest was about to create a colossal creature of any kind, that would fit one of the game's five planes, life, death, fire, water, air or earth.

I decided to go for the death plane and this is the concept I came up with, a creature that rather is on the creepy side but goes well without any gore.

That's it for now, the second part of the update will be available soon!

Don't forget to check out the gallery section, if you would like to see the images in a bigger size.
